Newborn Sleep Cycle

Older Baby Night Cycle

Your 8-12 month-old sleeps 12-14 hours per night and moves through all four stages of sleep. However, they may be able to sleep better between transitions. When your sweet Baby is around five years old, their sleep cycle will increase from 45 to 50 to 90 minutes.

Older Babies’ Daytime Sleep Schedule

An older baby’s day starts at 6:07 am. However, they still manage to squeeze in two to three naps a day that lasts about an hour. Be aware that some children are cat-nappers and will wake up after only 30 minutes of sleep.

Older Babies’ Evening Sleep Schedule

Your little one will fall asleep at night between 7 and 9 pm, with a sleep time of 7 to 10 hours.
