"The nurse gave us the options; a regular baby bath, a washing up bowl or a tummy tub. She explained that they often used it on the birth ward to help calm newborn babies as they love it. Given the size and shape of the tub babies are up to their shoulders, surrounded with water and held upright - so, very much like being in the womb. As a result they feel at ease. So we went for it. Elizabeth immediately liked it and felt at home, twisting and turning and kicking and moving her legs. Once at home we used it and got the same reaction each time. As a result we have been singing its praises and wouldn't hesitate in recommending it. Elizabeth certainly loved it!"

It is no exaggeration when we say that the Tummy Tub was one of the best things that we bought. Although Jacob was born in a birthing pool, he was quite tense and fretful for the first few weeks. We tried various things to help him, including massage and the conventional baby bath. When he was about 3 weeks old, we tried him in his Tummy Tub and what a result! Other than being held by me or his Dad, Jacob's Tummy Tub was the only place where he was happy and we now use it to help him when he has had vaccinations, colic, teething or just seems out of sorts.

I would just like to say thanks to the lady who took my call when I rang up to order a Tummy Tub. She was very helpful. An excellent, personal, service - even the courier was nice and very baby friendly! Our 4 week old son, Daniel, enjoyed his first bath in it and there wasn't a squeak out of him when we put it in it. He really does love his bathtime! When we first put him in it, it was amazing to see his legs and arms wrap around himself as if he was back in the womb.. I understand this is the concept, but to see him do this was unbelievable! I think the most amazing thing is that is it so unusual and still not a lot of people know of the Tummytub. You may remember I bought a Tummy Tub from you about 3 months ago and we had a lovely chat about the tub and babies in general. I'm delighted to say I had a healthy little boy called Sonny on 5th September and as promised, I have attached a few pics of him in the tub. He absolutely loves it and as soon as we put him in he's quiet and relaxed. As you'll see from a couple of the shots, he sometimes goes into a trance! As a midwife & a new mummy to Rémy who is now 12 weeks old, the tummy tub is fantastic. Ever since he was born he has gone in the tub for bathtime & he loves it. As soon as he went in his arms & legs went back into the fetal position & as he was breech during the pregnancy he loved it - it was obviously a familiar comfortable position!

He's getting bigger now & has more head control, allowing him to explore & splash around, generally having more fun. He loves the position and is a happy contented baby at bathtime.
